Food here is a solid 4 stars. Great breakfast menu. Lunch menu is small. Atmosphere is a solid 0 yes Zero! I sat outside to enjoy a beautiful Florida day. Next door to the restaurant is a drug rehab facility and all the patient roam around outside chain smoking one cigarette after the next. Very disappointing. The food good is sadly overshadowed by the location.

Amazing service. Place was slammed and the servers were owning it. We had the corned beef with egg and spinach on rye with hashbrowns $8 and the country mess with home fries $8. All was very good. The sandwich could have used some sauce as it was a bit dry. The country mess was very good the biscuit was bit over cooked and dry. The bacon was cooked perfectly. Service blew me away. Will return when near!

I've been back here a few times & it's always great. A friendly, cozy place with great service & food at a fine price in a pleasant atmosphere. I'm so glad they are here & have extended hours now in season. Brandon has a fine spirit & such kindness, he's a plus to this restaurant. Every day there is a special, yesterday I had a great angus burger w/cheddar (lots of toppings are included if desired!) fries & pickle spear...my "big cheat" once or twice a year...I got to enjoy nice, quality beef flame grilled; better than a flat grill! My giant glass mug of diet Pepsi refilled w/a smile. Back to nuts & twigs today ;) Flamingo Cafe is a big PSL plus!

Changed cooks twice again since my last update. Each cook is progressively worst than the last. Food quality and consistency has taken a nose dive for us. Sad that we will not be returning when I am home from work. We have been told that if the food is not cooked correctly to send it back; this becomes very annoying when you have to do it every time.

We have been enjoying breakfast here for more than a year. Service is ALWAYS A+. Lately the food has been hit or miss. When I get a plate of nice over easy eggs, I look forward to dunking that crispy toast into the yoke -- lately my toast is just soft bread which kills the meal. I don't want to send it back because it leads to an overall cold, disappointing breakfast. The cook needs to step up his game.

As my husband and I continue are search for a decent breakfast place in our new home of Port Saint Lucie, FL, we decided to give Flamingo's a try. Not the worse we have run into, yet plenty of improvement required. I asked for my bacon to be crispy, it was served wiggly. What a turn off! My husbanded asked for the butter for his toast to be on the side, it came already on the toast and as usual it was too much. They also didn't give him any hash browns which he asked for well done. It took 25 minutes to get breakfast served yet the place was 2/3's filled with most already served. The cook only had four tickets. Not sure what the hold-up was. Not sure I would go back, a bowl of Cheerios is looking rather good compared to the mistakes and time spent and the cost of $16.

I had the weirdest looking omelette a few days ago. It looked like the chef didn't care. I was so disappointed. To top it off, the drug rehab center next door was having a meeting. I'm embarrassed that I didn't catch all these things at first. I will not return. I feel like the place is a little dirty. I wish them well.
